Inspirational Quotation |
I don’t know why but for some reason one verse of Robert Frosts “Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening” Frequently pops in my head while running (I had to memorize this poem in 7th Grade and always liked it) Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though; He will not see me stopping here To watch his woods fill up with snow…

Brief Running History |
I started running as a repeat graduate of Dot Skofronick’s beginning running classes From 1989 to 1993. I first started keeping a running log and running 5K’s in 1993. For about 9 years I conducted the Springtime Training Groups, but Have retired from those duties a few years ago. My personal best time For 5K is 19:46 at Sickle Cell in 1999 , 10K is 42:40 at Springtime in 2001 , and marathon is 3:27 in Tallahassee 1998 . I am now more focused on the social aspects of running and shorter distances. I participate in the Winthrop group (Mondays) and Optimist park Group (Thursdays). I enjoy a limited amount of competition, however this is mostly just trying to keep Myron in sight.
