Message from Jonny Simpkins, March 4, 2001

Tim is at home now. He is really tired and weak. He will need plenty of rest to help build up his energy. He is having a really tough time eating. It is really hard for him to hold anything down. The treatments in Mexico seem to have slowed down the spreading of this terrible disease, but he still needs to continue treatments at home. Tim's doctor is visiting him on Sunday, the 4th, to check Tim out and to give him advice. The very first thing we need for Tim, is to get some energy and to hold down food. I think Tim will need a few more days of serious rest before he can start seeing friends. He asked me to make sure that all his friends knows that as soon as he is able to talk and see them, that he will let them know, by a letter on this website. I will write another update within a few days.

I would like again to thank all of you for your support for my brother, I will always be touched by "The Superman Relay."
