Tim Simpkins: Update 2/10/01

Hello, Friends

I'm Brother Mark answering per Tim.

Tim hopes everybody had a super race or a fine work-out at today's races. Whichever effort you ran, you were successful simply because you ran today. To Tim everybody won today!

Tim had blood-filtering treatments today at 9:30. It wiped him out! Tim was very tired when he woke up. He kept struggling to get moving. Despite feeling lousy, Tim made himself think positive thoughts. Stomach hurt some as Tim battled to feel better.

Finally Tim grabbed the bull by the horns. Breathing deeply, Tim was hooked up to many gadgets. Treatments went 60 mins. Somehow, thinking many positive things, Tim survived this painful treatment. Finally at 6 o'clock Tim is coming alive. He slept all day, waking only for brief moments.

It was a very rough day for Tim. He thanks you so very much for your prayers and e-mail. He wishes you a fine Sunday run.
