Tim Simpkins: Update 2/24/01

Hello, Dear Friends

I hope everyone enjoyed their race today. You all were "Winners" just by showing up and getting a great work-out, regardless of what that mean ole clock might say at the finish line. I am proud of you for just running this morning. To me, you are my Super-Stars!

I wish you all a fine day of running tomorrow in your race, at the Relay, or during your Sunday easily run. Don't forget! Some fine Sunday will find me enjoying my long, easy run again.

Friends, I wish everyone a wonderful Relay tomorrow. I wish I could be there. All day long my thoughts and prayers are with you. I bet there will be lots of fun going on. Hope the food and drinks are tasty. I am very grateful that you wonderful folks see fit to put on this event for a silly costume runner. I look forward to hearing from you how the Relay went.

I had another 2 hour insulin treatment today. As usual, tiredness and sickness are still with me. I hope to stay tougher. Tomorrow is my day off from insulin session. I start back Monday.
