Tim Simpkins: Update 2/25/01

Hello, Very Good Friends

This is Tim's brother Mark.

God bless each and everyone of you.

Tim had a rough day today. But he will be ok. He will do another treatment in the morning. Then that will leave 3 left.

He is being able to stay strong only because of great people like you. Your words and prayers and love will see Tim thru this Big Race. But Tim and I cannot begin to thank you for that Big Miracle that y'all did today. That being the Superman Relay. Everyone that helped or donated time or money, I truly believe God will touch your life and bless you. I have been reading your e-mails to Tim and they choke me up because they touched our souls.

Most of y'all know Tim is a special person, but I am here to tell you that everyone of you is special too. You didn't need to labor and spend your time on the relay but you did. You didn't need to send e-mails but you did. Every little thing you did helped Tim.

I wish I could tell you everything Tim said about the e-mails or phone calls or todays Relay, but I would be up all night. Besides words would fall short. The feeling that we get from yall cannot be described. I think the closest word would be Love.

I just wanted to let everybody know that Tim and I and our whole family alone with Cora and Rachel, thank you and may God bless each and everyone of you.
