Well just like that, the regular season has come and gone. There have been tons of great match-ups throughout. But not much of that matters now. Now it’s time for what we have all been waiting for, The State Series. And by some unpredictable turn of events we all get to be together through the entire series, at least for those who advance each week. Next weekend every one from the panhandle will be at Okaloosa Walton for Districts. 3A girls (Chiles, Leon, and Lincoln) will get us started bright and early at 7:30am followed by the 3A boys at 8:10am. Then 2A girls (Florida High, Godby, Madison Co., Marianna, Rickards, Suwannee and Wakulla) will give it a go at 8:30am followed by their 2A boys at 9:00am. Finally, the 1A girls and boys (Franklin Co., John Paul II, Maclay, NFC, Port St. Joe, and Wewa) will shut it down at 9:30am and 10:00am respectively. Good Luck to all!!!

If anyone is interested in trying to squeeze one more race in before Districts, Gary Droze of Maclay will be hosting a last chance run at Maclay Gardens. The course will be the same course as the Alan Sunberg 5K and we will start at 9:00am which is after the Sundberg 5K. No registration involved. Just show up if you want to run.
