Junior Olympians raced for Region 4 titles at Apalachee Regional Park Cross-Country Course

I’m guessing that because USATF Region 4 includes three states–South
Carolina, Georgia, and Florida–the Region 4 Junior Olympic
Cross-Country championship is only in Florida once every three years,
and between times Georgia and South Carolina get their turns. The meet
was at Apalachee Regional Park in 2016. If I’m right, that’s why the
Championships returned to Florida this year. Whether or not the theory
holds, the USATF Region 4 Junior Olympic Cross-Country Championship
Meet was at Apalachee Regional Park again this past Saturday, 23
November 2019, and here is a little bit about what happened:

After five weeks and six meets, Leon County Schools' 2019 middle school cross-country season is over. And just like each year since 2010, the season ended with the League Championship Meet at Apalachee Regional Park. When the NCAA meet comes here in 2021,...
