6A powerhouse Niceville held off 2A upstart Maclay, with 17 other schools left far in arrears. Niceville’s Philip Laird led wire-to-wire, hammering solo most of the way to break the course record by 10 seconds with a 15:00. Niceville’s team showing will almost certainly put them a top the 6A State rankings.

#1 2A Maclay set three PRs among its top five, but fell short, 48 to 53.
