This 3rd year, annual event, featured a scenic run through downtown Attapulgus, 100 % cotton shirts, nearly 80 awards, musical entertainment, and for an additional $5 a great southern meal. What was needed was more runners and some GWTC organizational help (which was promised for next year). Nearly every competitor won a nice trophy. The organizers were enthusiastic about doing this again next year, with GWTC guidance. Everyone we talked with enjoyed this event. Look for fliers and put this race on your calendar for next year.
