GWTC board member Judy Alexander stepped up to save a cross country program that
was about to find itself disbanded. She is now the coach at North Florida
Christian and is having a wonderful experience.

On Saturday, October 12, 2001 NFC participated in the Maclay Extravaganza
Cross Country Meet. Judy could not contain her excitement when talking with her
team: “Another week, another successful meet! You just keep getting better
& better & I keep getting more & more proud of my team! The Maclay
Extravaganza was, for me, the most fun meet we’ve been to so far. The fact that
I had four girls in the top ten line-up for awards in the open 3-mile race was
just fantastic! The boys were top notch also, with strong finishes by
everyone.”
