Proposed Changes to GWTC Bylaws
Florida House Bill 797 – 2026 Non-profit Corporations, which was passed by the 2026 Legislature, became effective July 1, 2026. The provisions of the bill update existing law and address governance and fiduciary responsibilities of non-profit organizations and boards. After reviewing the bill it was determined that revisions to the Club’s Bylaws are necessary to ensure compliance with the provisions of the bill. The GWTC Board met on October 14, and provisionally approved proposed changes, with final approval slated for the November 10 meeting.
