This year saw a new race director, move to Saturday morning and a return to the east side of highway 27. The overall winner was Amy Perry-Davis, a college student visiting from Pennsylvania, who ran 18:11. The male winner was our own GWTC’s Bob Barrable in 18:53. The new race director, Edrie Hurst, spoke of putting on the event again next year. Special ceramic treble clef medallions were awarded to the top 3 males and females and there were drawings for prizes of meals, dance lessons, plants, etc. at the “Cannery” downtown.
