Palace Saloon 5k race day is fast approaching. The Palace Saloon 5K is a regional draw for local 5k runners. This race always attracts folks who know they can achieve record 5k results. I actually believe a course record might be open to bragging rights this year.
Let the elite runners duke it out. They deserve the recognition for their finishing times. Their course times should be motivation for us all.
Everyone else:
We are extremely generous with age group awards.
Cash awards for Overal M/F, Masters M/F, and Grandmasters M/F.
We go 5 deep with age group mug awards.
We have Race Team awards.
We have live music at the finish.
We have free beer at the finish.
We are a Gulf Winds Track Club Grand Prix race this year.
1,000 “running mug” t-shirts have been ordered. Not running? Volunteer and you can get one, too.
Jackson Properties provides the finish line food.
