GWTC Social - Help Build the Scarecrows

GWTC will be entering a scarecrow in The Friends of Maclay Gardens Scarecrows in the Park exhibit. We will be constructing our scarecrow Sunday, September 29, at 5 pm, at the home of Vicky Droze. Food and drink provided by the club.This takes the place of the regular game night social for September and possibly October. The plan is to have a few scarecrow skeletons (made from PVC pipes) all ready to go and everyone will help dress and stuff them. Be looking for old hats and shirts with the GWTC logo on them, wigs, head options, running accessories, etc.  A picture of last year’s scarecrow is included to give you an idea. The plan this year is to have at least 3 scarecrows and arrange them as though they are at the finish line of a race.  Tentatively, the October social will be a hayride through the park to look at all the scarecrow entries. Date TBD.
