The Tallahassee (Capital City) Marathon will take a new course in 2003, the most recent in the race’s 28 year history. From the forest, to Killearn, Wacissa, (2) downtowns, and back to Killearn again with 2 courses in 3 years. That’s one way to always give folks a chance at a “new course record”! In 2003, the marathon will begin at the FSU stadium area and down the St Mark’s bike trail. There are lots of reasons to do it and really very few reasons why not to – unless you ask Dana Stetson. The new course is the brainchild of Mike Schneider, who should know — he’s run it like 23 times.
