Impressive times and close finishes were the call of the day at the 19th Annual Run for Sickle Cell 5K on Sept 9.
This year Tim Unger won the male’s title improving his time by three seconds for a finish of 16:55. Followed closely was Ma Joci Mc Bean for a second at finishing time 17: 05.
Dr. Sandra Williams won the women’s title with a time of 17: 40, beating last year’s time of 19:44 by a wide margin. Following closely behind her was Julie Clark finishing at an impressive 20:20 time.
In our Masters category, Tim Simpkins lead with a time of 17:19 and Rhea Vogelhut at 24:27.
